Princess Cruises has announced four new North to Alaska experiences for its 2026 Alaska season. The experiences will be featured on all eight Princess ships sailing in the region–Star Princess, Coral Princess, Royal Princess, Ruby Princess, Grand Princess, Emerald Princess, Discovery Princess, and Island Princess–during the cruise line’s “largest Alaska season ever,” which includes 180 departures to 19 destinations.
“Our North to Alaska program is designed to bring guests closer to the spirit, culture and natural beauty of Alaska in ways only Princess can deliver,” said John-Paul Lamb, Princess Cruises Vice President of Entertainment. “From encounters with local experts and native storytellers to immersive entertainment and scenic glacier viewing, these experiences allow our guests to connect with Alaska along every step of their journey.”
The New North to Alaska Experiences are:
The Glacier Experience: A Signature Princess Day: The experience includes close-up views of glaciers, Park Ranger commentary from the bridge and deck on select Glacier Bay sailings, as well as access to VIP viewing areas.
Welcome to Alaska: This experience is offered once per voyage and is hosted by the cruise director. During the presentation, guests will be able to meet a naturalist and enrichment presenters, and learn about the North to Alaska program.
Après Sea: Elevated Post-Adventure Experience: For this experience, guests are invited to relax in an après-ski inspired lounge extending the magic after a day of exploring. Guests aboard Star Princess will be hosted in The Dome at the top of the ship.
Candlelight Concert Series: Fire & Ice: The Fire & Ice experience is an extension of the cruise line’s current Candlelight Concert Series. Offered twice per voyage, guests will enjoy candlelight performances by Alaskan singer-songwriters.
Guests can also experience new à la carte offerings at specialty restaurants onboard. Crown Grill will offer seafood specialties like Wild King Salmon, Alaskan Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, and Jumbo Lump Crab paired with Butter-Broiled Lobster Tail, while Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria will offer Halibut alla Mediterranea. In addition to providing Princess’s fine dining experience, these curated dishes celebrate the spirit of Alaska.
