Virgin Voyages has announced a “Sisters at Sea” meetup to take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2027. All four of the cruise line’s Lady Ships–Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Brilliant Lady–will meet at sea for the very first time. The coordinated Caribbean rendezvous will take place approximately 44 miles north of Cuba and 200 miles south of Nassau, Bahamas.
The details of the fleetwide event were shared by Virgin Founder, Sir Richard Branson, during the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyages, where four lucky winners received tickets to be there when the historic event occurs.
“When we launched Scarlet Lady, we had a vision, and that vision was always four ships but one community,” said Virgin Founder Sir Richard Branson. “This fleetwide meet-up is that dream made real. At Virgin, we want to be the reason someone smiles today. Next year, 15,000 smiles at sea are guaranteed as we celebrate our brilliant Crew and the hundreds of thousands of Sailors who truly own this gathering. Thank you to each and every one of you for being the wind in our sails.”
Voyages from each Lady Ship overlap during this time in the Caribbean allowing the fleet to meet before continuing on their individual itineraries. Brilliant Lady will be sailing a 10-day Eastern Caribbean & Bimini Beach Club itinerary, Valiant Lady will be sailing a 7-day Lesser Antilles Valentine’s Day itinerary, Resilient Lady will be sailing a 7-day Eastern Caribbean & Bimini Beach Club itinerary, and Scarlet Lady will be sailing a 5-day Jamaican Waves & Bimini Breeze itinerary. The Lady Ships will have slight itinerary adjustments to ensure the meet up can occur at sea.
Virgin Voyages has not released exact onboard programming just yet, but promises “it’s the kind of thing Sailors will talk about for years.” Sailors can expect a synchronized horn salute, simultaneous deck parties, musical guests, keepsakes and more. And, yes, Sir Richard Branson will make an appearance on all four ships–somehow.
Virgin Voyages’ CMO, Nathan Rosenberg, said “There are voyages, and then there are moments that are so epic they become lifelong memories. Sisters at Sea is the latter, and we have so much planned to blow your mind and make you laugh and cry with joy.”
Being onboard one of the Lady Ships during the intentional coordination of all four ships will definitely be a “once-in-a-shiptime” experience.
