Explora Journeys celebrated three big milestones on March 3, 2026. Executives from MSC Group, Explora Journeys and Fincantieri were all in Genoa, Italy to celebrate the float out of Explora IV, the coin ceremony of Explora V and the steel cutting of Explora VI

With Florida’s Senate Bill 302 heading to the governor’s desk for a signature, it is not likely there will be a new cruise port with the ability to dock larger cruise ships in Manatee County any time soon. The bill is aimed at protecting the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve by limiting the dredging needed to welcome larger ships. 

Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas will debut a brand-new America’s Got Talent stage show when she sets sail in August 2026. America’s Got Talent LIVE will showcase a reimagined version of the variety television show, making it “the first time the series will headline at sea.”

Carnival Cruise Line is rolling out a new Express Dining option in its Main Dining Rooms. Express Dining, a more convenient dining option, offers the same multi-course meal in under an hour, giving guests more time to enjoy shows, live music, the spa, the pool and more.

Beginning this May, sailors traveling aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady will have a new fine dining option–Ariya. The modern Indian culinary experience will launch exclusively on Valiant Lady when she returns to service on May 25, 2026.
