Carnival Cruise Line Introduces Carnival Millions

Carnival Cruise Line may have hit the jackpot with their industry-first instant digital lottery–Carnival Millions. The interactive million-dollar lottery game, which is based in the Carnival Hub app, links ships across the fleet connecting players in real time. Eligible players have the opportunity to win up to $1 million through a daily drawing held fleetwide.

Marty Goldman, Senior Vice President of Global Gaming at Carnival Corporation, stated, “We are proud to lead the market in gaming innovation at sea. By linking our ships into one exciting lottery, we’re creating a shared sense of anticipation that goes beyond any single voyage. This experience gives every guest the opportunity to win a lifechanging jackpot, exactly the kind of fun and energy our guests love, and we’re thrilled to deliver it.”

Here is how it works:

Using the Carnival Hub App, eligible guests can purchase tickets once they are onboard and connected to the ship’s WiFi. Guests are able to purchase tickets for any of the daily draws that will take place during their sailing. Each day, all participating ships in North America and Europe will join in the same electronic drawing for the winning number and secondary prizes. Winners will receive a range of prizes from onboard credits to the “potential $1 million jackpot.” These winnings are shown immediately within the app, however guests who win major prizes or the jackpot will be contacted by the ship’s Casino and Guests Services teams.

In the words of Carnival Cruise Line’s Brand Ambassador, John Heald, “Wherever you are on the ship, tap that app to play and see if you have won. And hey, if you didn’t win the BIG prize, you may have still won a consolation prize big enough to fund your whole vacation. Get in on the highest stakes at sea, for the biggest jackpot at sea!”

Carnival Millions was developed in partnership with TimePlay, the award winning interactive entertainment technology company that brought the fan-favorite Deal or No Deal to cruising.
