Royal Caribbean will partner with Australia’s beloved The Wiggles for another Wiggly summer. The cruise line is offering three exclusive Wiggly-themed sailings–two will depart from Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas and the third from Sydney on Anthem of the Seas.
In celebration, Royal Caribbean is offering free sailings to kids named Dorothy, Henry, or Shirley in honor of the show’s characters Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Shirley Shawn the Unicorn.
According to November 2025 research data, there is a “growing trend of retro children’s names” with more parents stating they are considering using vintage names in 2026 with 40% of parents already considering their children to have classic names. Almost half of Australians know a child with one of the iconic Wiggles character names, one-third of parents admit to pop culture influencing their choice of baby names, and two-thirds of Australians believe vintage names are returning. Additionally, Henry is ranked as Australia’s second most popular baby name.
“With the rise of vintage names like Dorothy, Henry and Shirley, we saw a playful opportunity to celebrate this trend while offering families a unique chance to connect with their favourite Wiggles and Wiggly characters,” said Kathryn Lock, senior marketing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean. “In summer 2026/27, the three exclusive sailings will mark the second year of this exciting partnership, bringing more unforgettable adventures for all ages. We can’t wait to welcome families onboard for the Ultimate Wiggly Adventure.”
Families will be able to choose from any of the three Wiggly-themed sailings–two shorter and one longer sailing.
- Quantum of the Seas will depart from Brisbane on a 4-day one-way itinerary to Airlie Beach on November 30, 2026,
- Anthem of the Seas will depart from Sydney on a 4-day one-way itinerary to Hobart on March 1, 2027, and
- Quantum of the Seas will depart from Brisbane on a 7-day one-way itinerary to the South Pacific.

While each sailing will be different, they will all offer memories of a lifetime. Depending on the sailing, families will enjoy The Wiggles and their Wiggly Friends, including Tsehay Hawkins (Yellow Wiggle), Lucia Field (Blue Wiggle), Caterina Mete (Red Wiggle), and The Tree of Wisdom. Guests will also enjoy live shows, photo ops, meet-and-greets, and a Sail Away Party featuring DJ Dorothy.
