This Monday, we looked at Disney Cruise Line’s Dream Class–Disney Dream (2011) and Disney Fantasy (2012). Which have you been on?
Carnival Cruise Line recently decided to wade in the waters of adults-only cruising. Its first wave of “SEA cruises” (sailings exclusively for adults) were by invitation-only and focused on casino offers. However, the cruise line quickly added more SEA cruises for 2026 which are already sold out. Are there more on the horizon?
Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 will “take center stage” in New York Harbor during Sail4th 250, the celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary. Guests aboard the ship will have a front row seat to the largest maritime event in decades as more than 100 vessels will take part in the International Parade of Sail. The 6-day event is expected to draw more than eight million spectators.
Royal Caribbean Group made three big announcements this week. First, changes are coming to the Royal Caribbean Group loyalty program in 2026. It will be called “Points Choice” and offer more flexibility. Second, Royal Caribbean International announced its Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries. Six ships will be deployed to the region. Last, Royal Caribbean Group is expanding its Beach Club offerings to include Royal Beach Club Santorini in 2026.
Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Adventure received the first storybook castle at sea this week. The castle stands 186-feet or three decks tall. The first-of-its-kind art piece is located at “the creative heart” of the ship, the Disney Imagination Garden.
Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas made her debut down under on October 31, 2025, when she made a spectacular entrance into the Sydney Harbor. She will be joined by Voyager of the Seas from Brisbane in December. Together they will offer various 2- to 12-night voyages throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
