Carnival Cruise Details More of Its 2027-2028 Lineup

Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled more of its 2027-2028 lineup and opened sailings for new itineraries from West and East Coasts homeports including the cruise line’s first-ever series of cruises to Hawaii aboard Carnival Legend from Long Beach, California. Additionally, Carnival Freedom will reposition to Norfolk, Virginia and Carnival Pride will continue to homeport in Baltimore, Maryland.

“This update to our 2027/28 represents important pieces of our strategy to deliver more fun experiences that only Carnival can offer. With fun on the move, we’re creating new options – a newer ship for Norfolk and a new series dedicated to Hawaii sailings from Long Beach are both great examples of that. We’re also continuing our commitments in all our homeports, and Carnival Pride’s year-round deployment in Baltimore is a testament to that as well,” said Christine Duffy, Carnival Cruise Line president. “From Baltimore to Norfolk and Long Beach, we’re proud to bring guests more opportunities to depart closer to home on itineraries that feature incredible destinations.”

Carnival Legend is repositioning to Long Beach, California, for six months of itineraries from October 2027 to April 2028. She will launch the cruise line’s “first-ever program dedicated to Hawaii cruises.” Carnival Legend will sail a series of 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises to Hawaii that will include calls to Honolulu, Maui, Kauai, Hilo and Kona as well as Ensenada, Mexico. The Spirit-Class ship will also offer 6- and 8-day Mexican Riviera itineraries that will call on Puerto Vallarta,  Mazatlán, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Ensenada.

Also sailing from a new homeport is Carnival Freedom. Her repositioning cruise will be a 15-day Carnival Journeys cruise that calls on Aruba, Curaçao, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Thomas in the Southern Caribbean. The Conquest-Class ship will arrive in Norfolk on May 23, 2027 and begin offering a very diverse cruise program. She will sail 6-day Bahamas cruises that call on Celebration Key, Nassau and Bimini, and 6-day Bermuda cruises that allow guests two days to explore the island. She will also sail 8-day Eastern Caribbean cruises that visit Amber Cove, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk as well as 8-day Canada cruises that visit Halifax, Sydney, Saint John or Charlottetown. Carnival Freedom is replacing Carnival Sunshine in Norfolk.

Carnival Pride will continue to sail from Baltimore offering 7-day Bahamas itineraries calling on  Celebration Key, Nassau, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays. The Spirit-Class ship will offer 7-day Bermuda cruises featuring three days at the island, as well as a series of 9-, 12-, and 14-day Carnival Journeys voyages to destinations like Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua, Tortola and Martinique.

Most recently, Carnival Cruise Line revealed changes to its deployments and voyages from the Port of Galveston with four ships sailing everything from 4-day itineraries to longer Carnival Journeys cruises.
