Wonder of the Seas Repositions from Port Canaveral

As Star of the Seas begins sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas has moved to PortMiami for the first time to sail short weekend cruises from the Cruise Capital of the World.

Wonder of the Seas was welcomed on August 25, 2025, by PortMiami Deputy Director Fred Wong, who presented Captain Trym Selvag with the commemorative plaque marking the debut. The Oasis-class ship will sail alternating 3-day weekend cruises and 4-day weekday sailings to The Bahamas.

Not long after the traditional plaque ceremony, Wonder of the Seas departed PortMiami for her first 4-night cruise to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay, which also includes a sea day. Wonder of the Seas will depart on Fridays for her 3-night itineraries which will visit Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay, the cruise line’s popular private island. Her 4-night itineraries will depart on Mondays, visit the same ports and include a sea day. Beginning December 2025, guests will be able to visit the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau.

With the arrival of Star of the Seas and repositioning of Wonder of the Seas, the four biggest ships in the world sail from Port Canaveral and PortMiami, Florida’s biggest cruise ports. From Port Canaveral, Icon-class Star of the Seas offers 7-night Caribbean Perfect Day cruises, and Oasis-class Utopia of the Seas offers 3- and 4-day Bahamas Perfect Day cruises. Joining Wonder of the Seas from PortMiami, Icon of the Seas sails 7-night Caribbean Perfect Day cruises.

Wonder of the Seas debuted from Port Canaveral in 2022 with new experiences across eight neighborhoods. Thrills include the Ultimate Abyss slide and the Perfect Storm waterslides. She offers four pools and the adults-only Solarium. Guests can choose from more than 15 fan-favorite dining options and 10 bars and lounges. She offers a wide range of entertainment like inTENse in the AquaTheater, adults-only Royal Comedians, and 365–an ice tour through the four seasons.

Wonder of the Seas is expected to homeport from PortMiami through at least April 2027.
