Cunard Reveals Transformative Look for Queen Elizabeth

Cunard has revealed a new look for Queen Elizabeth after her three-week makeover at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore. The 2,000-passenger luxury cruise ship is ready just ahead of her debut from Miami and her inaugural Alaska sailings from Seattle.

Queen Elizabeth’s signature spaces have been revitalized, including the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge and The Pavilion. The venues give guests the space to relax, enjoy the ocean and outdoor dining. One venue, the Queen’s Room, takes its inspiration from the Mulberry trees which have been planted in the Royal Palace since King James I. The carpet pattern is meant to replicate the garden shrubbery.

The Pavilion Wellness Café, which first debuted on Queen Anne, has also been added to Queen Elizabeth. The venue will offer breakfast, lunch and daytime dining which features a plant-based menu as well as sustainable sourced meat, fish and dairy. Also first on Queen Anne, and now on Queen Elizabeth, is Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program. The partnership offers three-day wellness packages curated to provide a “rejuvenating journey at sea.”

The ship’s Grill suites have been upgraded inside and out with new furnishings and sophisticated details. The Grills terrace has also been updated with new furniture. Guests in these suites have access to exclusive dining, amenities and experiences.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said, “As Queen Elizabeth begins this exciting new chapter, we are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience on board, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort. With a full season based in Miami for the first time, more guests from the US and around the world can now experience the Caribbean with Cunard’s unique sense of luxury. The region remains a favourite for travellers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we can’t wait to welcome guests on board.”

In June, after a spring season in Asia, Queen Elizabeth will sail a 20-night transpacific journey to begin her inaugural season in Alaska where she will visit ports like Kodiak, Seward, Juneau, and sail through Glacier Bay and near the Hubbard Glacier. In October, and for the first time in Cunard’s history, a ship from its iconic fleet will homeport in Miami. Queen Elizabeth will offer 9- to 28-night roundtrip voyages throughout the Caribbean including destinations such as Montego Bay, San Juan, and so much more. She will remain in Miami until April 2, 2026, when she will return to Seattle for another summer season in Alaska.
