Royal Caribbean is offering even more ways to explore Asia in 2026-27. The cruise line has opened its 2026-27 bookings from Shanghai and Hong Kong aboard Spectrum of the Seas.
The two to nine night voyages will explore some of Asia’s most popular destinations in Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and more. Places like Tokyo, Osaka, Mount Fuji, Okinawa, Busan, Jeju, Da Nang and Hue. Voyages from China will begin sailing in May 2026.
“This is one of our most exciting lineups yet, with incredible new destinations and longer, more immersive itineraries,” said Benjamin Bouldin, President, Royal Caribbean International China. “From vibrant cityscapes to breathtaking coastal escapes, these new adventures are designed for travelers looking to experience the best of Asia in a whole new way.”
The 2026-27 season will offer brand new experiences in Asia. Guests can book the first-ever 8-night voyage to Mount Fuji and Nagoya in Japan. At Mount Fuji, guests can explore the Five Lakes region or the historic city of Nagoya. Guests can choose to visit the Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, the hot springs of Kumamoto or the sights in Okinawa, Japan. Additionally, Spectrum of the Seas will sail to South Korea and Vietnam as well as offer holiday sailings. Guests can celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas onboard with themed entertainment and special holiday festivities.
Beginning November 2026, Royal Caribbean will sail a combination of vacations in Hong Kong visiting top destinations. Guests can explore Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan, enjoy a “cruise-to-nowhere,” as well as world-class entertainment and dining.
The Quantum-Ultra-class cruise ship, Spectrum of the Seas, was built at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany and sailed her maiden voyage from Barcelona to Singapore on April 18, 2019. She has 16 total decks and a capacity of 4,246 passengers. She has multiple complimentary and specialty dining venues including Noodle Bar, Seaplex Dog House, Windjammer, Chops Grille, Izumi, and The Hot Pot. Her bars and lounges include Bionic Bar, Music Hall, Schooner Bar, Two70 Bar and of course, the Pool Bar.
Spectrum of the Seas was specifically designed for Asia and offers an unforgettable getaway with panoramic views from the North Star–the ship’s all-glass observation capsule located 300 feet above sea level. Families will enjoy productions like The Effectors, Showgirl and Silk Road. Activities include Flowrider, RipCord by iFly, Seaplex, and so much more.
