Cunard has announced that the critically acclaimed Cuban ballet company Acosta Danza will bring its contemporary ballet performances onboard Queen Victoria for a special six-week residency from May 26 to July 7, 2025 as she sails the Mediterranean. Acosta Danza was founded by world-renowned ballet dancer Carlos Acosta.
Acosta Danza will perform to exclusive shows during its 6-week residence with the title being released closer to their show date. Not only will the company perform, but they will also hold workshops and panel discussions with the company’s artists in Queen Victoria’s Royal Court Theatre. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch the biographical film, Yuli: The Carlos Acosta Story, directed by Iciar Bollain. The film can be viewed in the Royal Court Theatre or on stateroom TVs.

Cunard’s 2025 summer sailings in the Mediterranean will offer ports of call to some of the most picturesque destinations. Itineraries will include roundtrip cruises between Rome and Istanbul, Turkey; Trieste, Italy; or Barcelona, Spain. Queen Victoria will visit ports of call in Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, France and more.
